Does the campaign is effective for gender equality?

Social media is a remarkable technical innovation for exchanging information and communicating with people around the world. This advanced technology has both positive and negative impacts on our society, especially on the youth of this generation. Social media has largely contributed to create awareness among the people regarding political, economic, and social issues around the world. Also, it discusses the most prominent cases of our society through influential speeches and smart campaigns that are related to sexuality, gender equality, human trafficking, and rape cases.
From the last few decades, the most talked debate was gender equality; discussing the multiple issues of the women in our society. On this international women’s day, the UN started a campaign I am generation equality to fight for the rights of women and appreciate women’s contribution to our social peace and recognize the women’s achievement in education, health, and technical domains. On this day, women belonging to different caste, culture, religion, and language join hands together, to protest for the rights of those women who are abducted and forcibly married to the men; thrice older than their age. The campaign also struggles for women who are mentally or physically tortured by men and the women who are the victim of human trafficking or rape case.
The primary aim of #generation equality is to fight for all the fundamental rights of women who are facing torture and gender equality. While at the same period, it is neglecting the violence and injustice faced by the men of our society. Men also suffer from mental and even physical torture. They are oppressed by social injustice and were pressurized to perform a low-level job to earn bread for the family. They often stand in the second position because of the irrelevant use of the tagline; women come first. Some low-life women also took advantage of this campaign and ultimately crush the cultural ethics and prioritize the female dominancy over men. Although, men and women are equally participating in this society while some groups of women have a perception to become superior over men. According to those women, this is the only right way to make a demand for female rights.
The generation equality continues to fight for equal gender rights while violating the ethical rules and religious practices and, still, lacking with the most sensitive issues of the society. The women residing in rural areas are still unaware of these campaigns and quietly suffer from physical and mental abuse each day. There is no law for early child marriages; the girls are sold for money and forced to serve as a prostitute for the sake of lust and wealth. Men are suffering from false allegations due to the adverse use of this generation’s equality resulting in injustice. There is no law establishment; also, it violates the religious ethics that hurt the sentiments and believes of people.
The campaign should promote solidarity and justice for the men of our society also. It should contemplate the roles of men in the domain of education and peace development and analyze their fundamental rights, and equally appreciate their achievements. The campaign should struggle for the imposition of laws equally for each gender rather than making an average comparison of the contribution and achievements of men and women.
